TenCate Thiolon PFAS-free declaration

TenCate is dedicated to making the most innovative, highest quality turf that is both safe and sustainable. We are committed to the chemical safety of all our products. Building on this commitment, we have taken the step to make all of our products completely free from Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances (PFAS).
PFAS are a group of chemicals that resist oils, stains, and water. One of the most concerning things about PFAS is longevity. PFAS are known as “forever chemicals” because they break down very slowly in the environment. So slowly, that they actually build up. PFAS raise chemical safety concerns and are proven to have severe negative environmental effects.
TenCate has decided to proactively and voluntarily avoid using PFAS in our manufacturing and production processes of TenCate Thiolon B.V. and TenCate Thiolon Middle East, following TenCate Grass USA. We have made significant efforts to run our products with alternative materials. Our facilities have undergone several assessments to ensure compliance, and we continuously monitor our processes to prevent any inadvertent introduction of PFAS.
